Hi, I’m Michael, a Denver-based lifestyle photographer who strives to capture natural feeling moments, and genuine emotion.

What I enjoy about shooting lifestyle is that it’s my job to bring out the absolute best parts of the people and places that I’m shooting. I will always prefer dynamic shots of my subjects in motion, or capturing a genuine expression, rather than in a static pose. I’m also a nerd for lighting - I’ve always thought that good lighting can make the difference between a good shot and a bad one.

My professional photography career at the well known advertising agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where I worked my way up from intern to head photographer, and over the course of 6 years there, I worked with big brands such as Microsoft, Infiniti, Kraft, and Hershey’s. Since leaving CP+B, I’ve done lifestyle photography throughout Southeast Asia, and have been working for brands and agencies independently in Denver, Colorado. Over the years, my work has been displayed in TV commercials, magazines, on billboards, and across the internet.

Personally - I love traveling to far away places, snowboarding, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
